Located in a downtown of the country on the eastern mountain range, Bogotá has an extension of 33 km from south to north and 16 km from east to west and the orientation depends on  streets and races.

In Bogotá the main roads have names of numbers, for example the iconic seven race, thirty race, 68 avenue and 26 street. Sometimes the main roads have their own names like Boyacá Avenue, Américas Avenue, Caracas Avenue or South highway. 

Bogotá its 2600 meters high above sea level.

Ubicada en el centro del país en la Cordillera Oriental, Bogotá tiene una extensión de 33 km de sur a norte y 16 km de este a oeste y la orientación depende de calles y carreras. 

En Bogotá las calles principales tienen nombres de números, por ejemplo a icónica carrera Séptima, la Carrera 30, la Avenida 68 y Calle 26. a veces las calles principales tienen nombres propios como la Avenida Boyacá, Avenida Américas, Avenida Caracas y Autopista Sur. 

Bogotá esta a 2600 metros de altura sobre el nivel del mar.
