AJIACO BOGOTANO (SANTAFEREÑO) 

Each region of Colombia has a typical disches, for example in the capital of the country Bogotá, the Ajiaco Santafereño is a delicious soup

There are differents ways to make this soup but it´s usually made with chicken and three kinds of potatoes: Pastusa, Criolla,  and sabanera; corn and an herb called Guascas. This herb gives the soup a wonderful flavor. 

You can serve it with avocado and white rice, capers and heavy cream.

Ingredients

• Chicken
• Potatoes, three kinds: Criolla, Pastusa, Sabanera
• Corn
• Guascas
• Salt
• Pepper
• Onion
• Garlic
• Chicken Bouillon
• Coriander

Accompaniment: 

• White rice
• Avocado
• heavy cream
• Carpers

Preparation

1. In a pot add the chicken, corn, garlic, chicken bouilon, coriander, salt and pepper
2. After add water and put to boil, then reduce heat to medium and cook for about 35 to 40 minutes, until the chicken is cooked and tender. Remove cthe chicken and reserve.
3. Cooking the corn for 30 minutes more and add rhe criolla potatoes and the guascas , cook to 30 minutes. 
4. Uncover the pot and add the criolla potatoe and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes flavour with salt and pepper. 
5. Finally cut the chicken meat into small pieces and put on the pot again and serve the Ajiaco hot with capers, heavy cream, an alice of avocado and white rice.

In Bogotá  you can eat delicious food. we can begin in the morning with a succulent breakfast, could be a Tamal Santafereño, this dish is made of rice, chicken, pig, peas, egg and chicharron. All this is wrapped in bannana leaf that gives a special flavor, you can accompany the dish with chocolate. orher dishes are aguadepanela with cheese and almojabana.

The Aguadepanela is a hot drink made of plant of sugar and almojabana is similar to a bread of cheese. 

In the afternoon to lunch you can eat a soup call Ajiaco Santafereño. this dish made of three class of typical potatoes: Sabanera, Pastusa and Criolla, Chicken with corn, capers and one type of herb that gives a special flavor: Guascas. to serve the dish with rice and avocado.

In the evening you can go to eat diferents restaurants that offers you variety of dishes: International food, fast food, and typical food of all regions of Colombia like bandeja paisa, Mojarra frita, Bistec a Caballo or lengua en Salsa with beverage of exotic fruits of colombia like: Gulupa, Feijoa, Curuba. 

En Bogotá puedes comer comida deliciosa. podemos empezar en la mañana con un suculento desayuno podría ser un Tamal Santafereño. este plato esta hecho de arroz, pollo, cerdo, arveja, huevo y chicharrón. todo esto es envuelto en hoja de plátano que le da su sabor especial. puedes acompañar este plato con chocolate.otros platos son la Aguadepanela con queso y almojabana. 

La Aguadepanela es una bebida caliente hecha de el azucar de una planta y la almojabana es similart un pan de queso. 

Inla tarde a almuerzo puedes comer una sopa llamada Ajiaco Santafereño. este plato esta hecho de tres clases de papas típicas: Sabanera, Pastusa y Criolla con pollo, alcachofas y un typo de hierba que le da un sabor especial: las guascas. sirven el plato con arroz y aguacate. 

En la noche puedes ir a comer a diferentes restaurantes qye te ofrecen variedad de platos: Comida Internacional, comida rápiday comida tipica de todas las regiones de Colombia como la Bandeja Paisa, Mojarra Frita, Bistec a Caballo o Lengua en Salsa, bebidas de frutas exóticas como la Gúlupa, Feijoa, Curuba.

In the Downtown  of Bogotá you can find the most important historic sites, that is very popular and recommended to people to visit it. 

On the Candelaria you can see monuments of the colonial time like Colón Theater with a neoclassic style and The San Francisco´s Church to XVII century. Bogotá has popular museums like Botero Museum that shows exhibitions of the painter and sculptor Fernando Botero and also the Gold Museum that show precolombine parts to visitors.

En el Centro de Bogotá puedes encontrar los más importantes sitios turísticos, que son muy populares y recomendados por la gente que lo visita.

En la Candelaria puedes ver monumentos de tiempo colonial como el Teatro Colón con estilo neoclásico. la Iglesia de San Francisco del siglo XVII. Bogotá tiene museos populares como el Museo de Botero que muestra exhibiciones de el pintor y escultor Fernando Botero y también el Museo del Oro que muestra piezas precolombinas a los visitantes.

MONSERRATE: 

The Monserrate´s hill is the best know of de east hills from Bogotá. beside Guadalupe hill is one of principal hill of the city in this place. 

You can walk a path until to arrive to the church. throughout the top. Also you can up the hill to the top in other transportation like Funicular or Cableway an the same time enjoy the view. 

El Cerro de Monserrate es le más conocido de los cerros orientales de Bogotá. Junto al Cerro de Guadalupe es uno de los cerros principales en ese lugar.

Puedes caminar por un sendero hasta llegar a la iglesia que esta en toda la parte superior. También puedes subir al cerro a toda la cima en otro transporte como el Funicular o Teleférico y al mismo tiempo disfrutar de la vista

CHORRO DE QUEVEDO 

This square was a military guardness of Gónzalo Jiménez de Quesada before to found the city in 1538 . It´s located to 13 street with second avenue in a historical center of the city. Also you can eat in some delicious restautants like the Black Cat or drink a typical drink call Chicha while listening to the storytellers. 

Esta plaza fue guarnición militar de Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada antes de fundar la ciudad en 1538. esta ubicada en la carrera 13 con calle segunda en centro histórico de la ciudad. También tu también puedes comer en deliciosos restaurantes como el Gato Negro o tomar una bebida típica llamada Chicha mientras escuchas a los cuenteros.

SANTAMARÍA BULLRING

It´s localed in San Diego neighborhood on the east zone of international center. it has a capacity of 14.000 spectators. was building in 1931. Actually is managed by IDARTES. bullfights and shows of Iberoamerican Theatre Festival are celebrated here. 

Esta ubicado en el Barrio San Diego en la zona oriental del centro internacional. tiene capacidad de 14.000 espectadores. fue construida en 1931. Actualmente es administrada por IDARTES. Corridas de toros y shows del Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro se celebran allí. 

MALOKA INTERACTVE MUSEUM

It´s an interactive  theme park about technology and science. Located on Salitre City neighborhood and founded in Agost 6 of 1988. This place has a big movie theaher and gift show. 

Es un parque interactivo sobre tecnología y ciencia. ubicado en el barrio Ciudad Salitre y fundado en agosto de 1988. este lugar tiene un gran cine y tienda de regalos.

Bogotá is located between mountains, these serve as a natural wall that restrict the humidity flow, influencing in the rain season. 

The temperature it´s not the same every month of the year. From December to March is hot, on the contrary from April to October is cold. 

Bogotá está ubicada entre montañas, esto le sirve como barrera natural que restringe el flujo de humedad influyendo en la temporada de lluvias. 

La temperatura no es la misma todos los meses del año, de Diciembre a Marzo es caliente por el contrario de Abril a Octubre es frío.

According to Dane (National Administrative Department of Statistics) Bogotá had in 2018 7.200.000 of population, to 2032 year will be to 8.374.333. for each one hundred people under 15 years old, there are 47,4 over 67 years old. 

At the same time nowadays in Bogotá live people to all regions of Colombia. 

De acuerdo al Dane ( Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística) Bogotá tenia en 2018 7.200.000 de población, al año 2032 será de 8.374.333. por cada cien personas menores de 15 años hay 47,4 mayores de 67 años. 

Al mismo tiempo hoy en día en Bogotá vive gente de todas las regiones de Colombia.
